Pele: protests and construction delays threaten to World Cup

بيليهSaid the Brazilian football legend Pele said on Monday that the protests in his country and delayed construction work in stadiums represents a threat to the World Cup , which kicks off next month , just tourists for the tournament.
 
The World Cup organizers are facing many difficulties since Brazil in 2007, choosing to host the finals.

When asked whether the protests in Brazil represent a threat to the World Cup Pele said at a news conference in Mexico City , " Yes , because I know cancel 25 percent of their trips to foreigners already in the country . "
 
Pele scored the title of the World Cup three times with Brazil 1958, 1962 and 1970 and is currently working as a consultant to the organizing committee for the finals which will be launched on 12 June.
 
Many fear that the demonstrations will continue during the tournament which will end on July 13 next because of the anger of the protesters from the high costs of hosting the finals after he set this month Tires Stadium Corinthians, which will see the opening in Sao Paulo.

Pele also pointed out that the timing of the demonstrations did not help Brazil in these circumstances .
